leovigild This is a very cinematic album that does a great job capturing the story and telling it through the music. It's an interesting and sad topic, but I think the album is a fascinating way to explore it. It's an unusual inspiration, but I'm glad he went for it - the end result is impressive.

It's definitely got melancholic vibes, but it helped me relax and immerse myself in the experience anyway.

I hope this album gets the recognition it deserves Favorite track: Fukushima Daiichi.

Xtra Happy Podel's sophomore album sees a return to the atmospheric and cinematic undertones of Suburban Memory, but with more of a unifying narrative concept this time around through a retelling of real events.

Strings swell and peak with powerful drums behind them, setting the scene for cataclysm in tracks like 'Fukushima Daiichi'. More ethereal ambient pieces, such as 'Withered Flower', fill the air with dread and uncertainty in the aftermath of the earthquake, tsunami and subsequent nuclear meltdown. Favorite track: Withered Flower.
